This is the best vitamin C smoothie ever! Sweet, delicious and packed with vitamin C and antioxidants, you’ll love it!

Sea buckthorn berries are the main ingredient in this delicious vitamin C smoothie. They are very rich in antioxidants and are great for treating colds and sore throats. For some extra sweetness I added bananas, which is the most used ingredient in the smoothies I make. I love bananas because they improve your mood, are high in fiber and aid digestion and also are great as an energizing, healthy snack. The oranges make this vitamin C smoothie ideal for summer; add some ice.

Ingredients for 3-4 glasses:

  • 1/2 cup frozen or fresh sea buckthorn berries
  • 1 banana, peeled and sliced
  • 1 orange, peeled and sliced
  • water, as needed to reach the desired consistency
  • ice (optional)
